Our Organic Lamb Suppliers are based on a
well-established family farm set high in the rolling Montgomeryshire hills of
Mid Wales, producing Organic Beef, Organic Lamb and Organic Pork. They farm
Organic Welsh Mountain Cross-bred Sheep, which are hardy enough to stand up to
the vagaries of the weather, it is Wales, and the upland environment. They are
renowned for their excellent taste characteristics, that are only enhanced when
raised in a strict Organic environment.
An added advantage with my suppliers is that they are
situated no more than a 12-mile road trip to a local, organic approved,
abattoir, where slaughter is undertaken under the rigorous regulations that
apply to Organic livestock. Then once they have been hung for a couple of days
they are collected by our suppliers for the short journey back to their family
farm, where they have built their own Organic processing plant, so that
butchery to your specific order is undertaken.
So, as you can see, they look after your Organic Lamb from
birth to your plate.
